The New York Jets were able to reach an agreement with a player coming off a career season they let walk into free agency this cycle. The Jets are getting their roster to 90 players before the start of their offseason workout program.
The Jets have had an exciting free agency, as they added key offensive linemen like Tyron Smith and wide receiver Mike Edwards to a talented roster with quarterback Aaron Rodgers coming back. They also added veteran pass rusher Haason Reddick via trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. Per Over The Cap, the team has just over $1 million in cap space before the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Jets added another key defender for the upcoming season. Per Mike Garofolo with the NFL Network, the Jets re-signed safety Ashtyn Davis. Davis reportedly had interest around the league after recording a career-high three interceptions for the 2023 season.
